See the highlights of northern Tanzania and Kenya on a 10-day safari. Start off in Nairobi and make your way to the Masai Mara National Reserve, famous for the Wildebeest migration. Travel to Arusha to visit Lake Manyara National Park and Ngorongoro, the world’s biggest crater, and experience the famous Serengeti National Park.
Today you will be picked up at the Nairobi airport upon arrival and transferred to a tented camp where you will get settled in.
You will be picked up from your hotel at 8:30 am for the journey south. You will arrive at Masai Mara National Reserve in time for an afternoon game drive where you may have a chance of seeing the ‘Big Five’. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Full day drives for the day to absorb the beauty and splendor of the Mara. Today you will be dropped off at the Masai Village at 5:00 pm for an opportunity to visit the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals.
Embark on your last game drive in the park this morning before breakfast. Then you will depart for your leisurely drive back to Nairobi today arriving in the late afternoon. This evening you will be picked up and transferred to the iconic Carnivore Restaurant for a dinner of various game meats.
Today you will take a bus from Nairobi to Arusha in the morning. Upon arrival you will be picked up at the bus station and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Dinner is included this evening.
Depart Arusha in the morning after breakfast for Lake Manyara National Park.
After breakfast, leave for the UNESCO World Heritage site of Serengeti National Park. En route, we stop at Olduvai Gorge, the “cradle of mankind”. We also make a stop at a Masai Village and pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Early morning game drives in Serengeti before breakfast. Then after breakfast check out and take your picnic lunch box. Enjoy some game viewing in Serengeti National Park en route to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater rim.
Today we descend 2,000 feet into the giant caldera of this extinct volcano. Take a break for lunch at Ngoitoktok spring before more game viewing and then the drive back to Arusha.
Check out of your accommodation to be transferred to the airport in time to catch your flight.
Leave Nairobi in the morning and drive to Lake Nakuru National park and arrive in good time for lunch at Merica Hotel. Optional afternoon game drive or relaxation in this park or participate in a branded tree planting exercise to memorize your safari, dinner and/or overnight. (Social brainstorming after dinner at the Bar about business, leisure or topical issues)
Depart from Arusha in the afternoon and proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and check-in at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
